Mary Overton is currently Vice President of SWUUW.. She is also the Executive Director of the First International UU Women's Convocation (www.ICUUW.com) . She currently serves on the Board of the UU United Nations Office in New York City and is Co-chair of the Communications Committee and Chair of the Nominations Committee . Mary lives in Dallas , Texas and is a member of the First Unitarian Church of Dallas and serves on the Board of the Social Action Council. |

| Gail Tittle is a member of Bay Area Unitarian Universalist Church in Houston, where she has chaired and served on numerous committees. She currently serves on the Membership Committee and One Voice: Straight and Gay Together, chairs the Service Auction Committee, and helps with YRUU. She also serves on the Steering Committee of the International Convocation of Unitarian Universalist Women and chairs the Local Committee for the Convocation. Gail is a licensed social worker and is on staff at the Graduate College of Social Work at the University of Houston, where she is Manager for Workshop Development for the Protective Services Training Institute. She is married to Rev. Dr. Matt Tittle and has two sons, Alex (16) and Andy (11). |

| Myrtle McMahan, who is currently Secretary of SWUUW, is a founding member of Westside U.U. Church in Fort Worth. She has been a UU for over 40 years, having been a member of four different congregations. She presently is on Westside’s Membership Committee. For eight years she served as the Southwestern U U Conference representative on the U.U.A.Annual Program Fund. She has been treasurer of SWUUSI and presently serves as assistant registrar. |

| Patti Clark is treasurer of SWUUW and has been registrar of the 2007 and 2008 SWUUW Conferences. She was also on the planning team for the 2006 Conference. She will be treasurer and will coordinate registration of the 2009 International UU Convocation. She is a CPA in private practice in Houston , Texas and has used her experience as a tax specialist to handle SWUUW's tax matters. She is a member of First Unitarian Universalist Church of Houston where she is active in the Changing Women group. |

| The Rev. Liz Brown, our new ministerial board member, received her call to Unitarian Universalism when Rebecca Parker spoke at the Tulsa SWUUW gathering in 1990. Five years later she was admitted to Starr King. She was ordained as a UU minister at her first congregation in Newport News, Virginia. She has also served the UU Church of the Brazos Valley in College Station, Texas, and as interim minister at two Florida churches, in St. Petersburg and Tampa. She is back in the Southwestern Conference serving the North Shore Unitarian Universalist Society in Lacombe, Louisiana. She is joined there by her daughter, Mariah, whom she calls her “little witch.” |

| Kathy Calhoun has been active in her church, First Unitarian Church of Dallas, and in the Southwestern Unitarian Universalist Conference for may years. She has served as President of the district, chairperson and dean of the Dwight Brown Leadership Experience, and children's program coordinator, director and presently board member of Southwest UU Summer Institute. She is a past president of Southwest UU Women and is a member of both the evening and day women's alliances of her church. She has been to all but one of the Southwest UU Women's conferences since the first one in 1987. |

Carolyn Gaines is currently a member of the Committee on Ministries at FJUUC. She has been a Unitarian for 12 years and has served on the board of directors and attended the Dwight Brown Leadership Experience. At present she is teaching the RE Spirit Play at the pre-k and K level. She has also taught OWL at the pre-k and Junior High levels. Carolyn has recently retired from teaching after having taught English as a Second Language for 18 years, and Art for 13 years. She is an artist and floral designer. |

| Linda VanBlaricom has served on the SWUUW board for the past year. She convened the 2001 SWUUW conference in Little Rock and has been a liason to year's conference team. She has been a member of UUCLR for about 25 years and is currently chair of the Committee on Ministry and a Covenant Group Leader. She is a past president of UUCLR and was Worship Chair for seven years. She is a Psychological Examiner in private practice and is now hosting an AFS exchange student from Egypt. |

In 2006 she and Brenda Baldwin co-convened the women's conference in Fort Worth. A charter member of Westside UU Church in Fort Worth, Amy currently chairs the worship committee. |

| Laura is a lifelong UU, past president of SWUUW, and currently serves as Administrator of SWUUW and of the International Convocation. She served as Board President of First Jefferson UU Church in Fort Worth in 1999 and currently is a member of First UU Church in Houston where she lives with her husband Harry. They have two daughters, Samantha and Erica. |
